The origins of the company date back to 1935, when the Prot family opened in Milan, Italy, a plant for the manufacture of washing, bottling, capping, and labeling machines for major Italian beverage brands.
In 1948 it was decided to move the plant to Argentina, and in 1950, under the influence of its Italian origins, the iconic “Pastalinda” pasta-making machine was created. Its innovative design with an elegant figure, its robust structure, and its professional quality revolutionized the market, making it the undisputed leader of the same, being since then the favorite in South American homes.
During its long history, the company has specialized in the manufacture of pasta machines, slicers, cheese graters, agricultural machines, lawn mowers, washing machines, dryers, and much more, all of these products being manufactured entirely in its own plant.
In 2018, 68 years after the birth of Pastalinda, a new 3,000 m² plant with state-of-the-art technologies was inaugurated, suitable for continuous supply in the face of the growing demand for products. Currently, it is exported to more than 20 countries, being 100% ARGENTINE INDUSTRY manufacturing products. The company works every day so that Pastalinda is synonymous with quality, durability, and design.
