The origins of the company date back to 1935, when the Prot family opened in Milan, Italy, a plant for the manufacture of washing, bottling, capping and labeling machines for major Italian beverage brands.

Relocation and Creation of Pastalinda

In 1948 it was decided to move the plant to Argentina, and in 1950, under the influence of its Italian origins, the iconic “Pastalinda” pasta-making machine was created. Its innovative design with an elegant figure, its robust structure, and its professional quality revolutionized the market, making it the undisputed leader of the same, being since then the favorite in South American homes.

Modern Expansion and Global Reach

During its long history, the company has specialized in the manufacture of pasta machines, slicers, cheese graters, agricultural machines, lawn mowers, washing machines, dryers, and much more, all of these products being manufactured entirely in its own plant.

In 2018, 68 years after the birth of Pastalinda, a new 3,000 m² plant with state-of-the-art technologies was inaugurated, suitable for continuous supply in the face of the growing demand for products. Currently, it is exported to more than 20 countries, being 100% ARGENTINE INDUSTRY manufacturing products. The company works every day so that Pastalinda is synonymous with quality, durability, and design.

Pastalinda Home

In 1950 Pastalinda Hogar was born, its unique and innovative design is patented and later it would become an icon present in most Argentine homes. It allowed to knead, stretch dough and cut noodles, ribbons or noodles. Cast aluminum structure and fixed tray system. It was marketed in roller widths of 4.7-in or 7.87-in

Pastalinda Hotel

Designed to withstand gastronomic use, this model with 11.8-in wide rollers allows you to knead, stretch dough and cut noodles, ribbons or noodles. It was the favorite of most restaurants and professionals. Its electric version was also marketed.

1960

Pastalinda Extra

With a renewed design, it was established as the best-selling and most recognized pasta machine in the country. Its quality components such as steel and aluminum guaranteed a useful life of several decades. It was marketed in five colors: green, light blue, pink, yellow and white.

Pastalinda PE300 Elect

Electric pedestal model for gastronomic use, allowing greater comfort for use in shops. Equipped with a powerful motor and roller width of 11.8-in

Pastalinda Raviolera

The first machine in the home market to prepare ravioli. Reinforced steel structure and quality materials. 7.87-in. roller width. It allowed to prepare sheets of 6 ravioli wide by the length of the dough used. It was sold in various colors.

Pastalinda Raviolera Hotel

This new machine aimed at the gastronomic public allowed to prepare a greater quantity of ravioli in less time, thanks to its 11.8-in roller width. Reinforced steel structure and quality materials.

1965

Pastalinda Piccola

A new and compact machine aimed at the home public with 4.7-in wide rollers. The "Piccola" was built with a reinforced steel structure and quality materials. It was sold in various colors.

1970

Pastalinda Semi Chrome

This model had the same constructive characteristics of the "EXTRA" model but with aesthetic details in white and chromed steel.

1975

Chrome Pastalinda

With the same constructive characteristics of the EXTRA model. Its aesthetic finish was made of chromed steel and bright polished aluminum. This model was exported and marketed in more than 10 countries.

Meat Slicer

Cold meat cutting machine equipped with stainless steel blade and width adjustment. With the characteristic quality of Pastalinda, its aesthetic finish was made of chromed steel with a wooden handle.

1990

Pastalinda Extra L/N

This machine maintained the characteristics of the EXTRA model, with aesthetics of chromed steel on its sides. It included rear supports for the application of accessories that would expand its use. This model continued to be exported to countries such as the United States, Mexico, Spain, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Israel, etc.

Pastalinda Sobadora and Accessory

Model aimed at the professional and gastronomic public, it included the novelty of being a kneader, that is, it only kneaded and stretched the dough with a roller width of 11.8-in. It could also be attached to the cutting accessory (ribbons or noodles) or the ravioli accessory. Cast aluminum structure, plastic or steel rollers, aluminum trays, with bronze gears and bushings.

Pastalinda Raviolera Accessory

This is applied to the current Extra L/N or Classic model, being placed in the back part of the machine. It allows you to prepare ravioli sheets with much more filling thanks to the great depth of the mold, making it an ideal complement for those who enjoy homemade stuffed pasta. Chromed steel structure, roller width 7.9-in

2014

Pastalinda Classic

In this last modification, the classic model, receives the novelty of the color in its side covers, adapting to the new trends, reaffirming it in the field, as the indisputable leader. Built entirely with a stainless steel structure with solid steel rollers covered in ABS, allowing the product warranty to be extended to 3 years.

2019

Pastalinda Dryer/Rack

Made of stainless steel, this pasta dryer is unique for its design and quality. It has 12 polycarbonate arms 20 cm long and 40 cm in total height. Shrinking to store it saving space. Available in various colors.

2020

Showroom Pastalinda Argentina

In 2019 Pastalinda opens its first showroom for sale to the public, exhibiting its complete line of products and providing advice and instructions for use to users. Likewise, it becomes the reception center for its official technical service, restoring machines manufactured from 1950 to the present day.

Pastalinda Tablets, Wheels and Stamps

Kitchen accessories are incorporated, maintaining the quality standards that characterize Pastalinda. Tablets to make gnocchi, garganellis, sorrentinos and ravioli. Stamps with ejector and of all forms, to make stuffed pasta or just fun cookies with fancy shapes.

Pastalinda Textile Line

For the first time in its history, the brand incorporates a textile line: Classic cover and Dry cover, to provide maximum protection to Pastalinda products. Kit oven mitts and pot holders, to dissipate heat and protect hands. To complete Pastalinda's textile kit, embroidered aprons and kitchen towels were launched, with details of leather ribbons and zamak hooks.

2021

Classic Pastalinda 260

After months of continuous improvement and growth, Pastalinda launches the Pasta Maker Classic 260. This new model has rollers 10.2 inches wide, with metal gears and a redesign of its base.
The classic 260 joins the line of pasta makers along with the Classic 200.
